KaZaA termination fix

KaZaA termination fix

KaZaA, one of the most famous P2P programs tends to hog the processor,
this results in the termination of the program after few seconds.
This tweak can be used on systems that have the above mentioned problem. Here it is...

1. Download and install KaZaA.
2. Right-click on the shortcut of the program and click on "Run as...",
this will prompt you to select a user to run the progam as..do not forget to
select the "Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity".
3. Click OK and everything is back to normal..happy downloading!!

Here is a final note on what I just discovered..you cannot change the options
while running in the protected mode..so just run it in the normal mode,
I mean the mode that hogs your CPU...change the necessary options and close down
before KaZaA terminates...this should do the trick!

Cheers!

Purchasing new Adsense ready site ?

Purchasing an Adsense ready website is a good idea, especially if you don't know much about web development, but there are a few things to take care of. There are basically two types of Adsense ready websites – the duplicate content websites which get sold over and over and custom-made, original Adsense ready websites. Let's have a look at both of them:

“Recycled” Google Adsense ready website – let's call them recycled because they get used over and over and over… You can purchase 10, 50 or 150 websites, each with hundreds of pages, for less than $100! Of course, these websites get sold, in their exact same form, to hundreds or thousands of other people. However, what you lose in search engine rankings you make up in structure and content quality. And with a few dozen Google Adsense ready websites like these, you only need to handle some high quality link exchanges, or get visitors on your sites through the other program offered by Google to advertisers – Adwords.

Unique content Adsense ready websites are the other option. You will most likely pay a few hundred dollars for a unique website with 15-25 pages of original content. Instead of a hundred duplicate content websites you will have just one original website. It's hard to say which option will allow you to earn more from your online business, but it's clear that your unique content website will outrank duplicate content in the search engines. An original Adsense ready website offers a more stable income level, and you can grow it into a top ranking site in time. Your online earning will depend on numerous factors, but one thing is for sure – the search engines will love your site for bringing new content to the Internet and will reward you by ranking it higher. Here are some tips on generating fresh content for your website: 1. How to get good Adsense content?

You can either write your own content or pay someone else to write it. If your Adsense content is on a topic you like, try to write it yourself. If you have a website on rocket engineering and you are a philosophy major, maybe you'll want to get a copywriter or ghostwriter to do the writing, for a fee.

2. How long should the Adsense content be for one web page? There are no limits as far as length is concerned. Create an article or content that covers the chosen topic. Most web masters using Google Adsense prefer to have a minimum of 250 words for each new page. Others claim that Google favors web pages with over 1,000 words of unique content. The general rule, however, is that if the visitors like your Google Adsense content, so do the search engines.

3. What keyword density should I use to rank high on Google? Again, there are no strict rules. Successful publishers use the main web page keyword at least four or five times. The web page title should also include the keyword. High quality Google Adsense content doesn't look like a string of keywords – it manages to blend in the keyword nicely, so that human visitors read a relevant and well planned text.

4. How many pages should my Adsense ready website have? The more unique content you have, the better your site will rank. Unique Google Adsense content, however, is hard to obtain at “industrial levels”.

5. How much does it cost to get original content for my Adsense website? A good copywriter might charge $15 for a 400-word article. You can also use different outsourcing companies and freelancing sites to look for cheaper alternatives. Outsourcing your writing job might save you 50% of the costs. However, make sure the quality of the Adsense content you purchase is high.

How to Increase Your Adsense CTR x20 in 3 Minutes

I have a couple of blogs and experimenting with google adsense. I'm in for only a couple of months, so i actually thought the main thing i need is great traffic.

Things changed when one of my posts (not from this blog) went to reddit top 5. it then appeared at fark and delicious tops also. i had something like 60000 visitors in two days, and earned... well, a dollar or so.

that's the moment i started thiniking about optimizing my pages for adsense.

I already had ads with no borders, and colors were matching my template. i searched web for some answers, and did a couple of things. after that, my CTR increased about 20 times. unfortunately, at that moment traffic was quite low, but i still have some everyday income that is about 20 times higher. here are the simple steps:

1. Instead of 468x15 Link Unit i put 300x250 Rectangle at the top of my page under it's header.
2. I made links blue. Yes, people simply expect free links to be blue.
3. I made ads urls color match text color.

As simple as that! If i did that before, i could get about 150$ in 2 days. So make the changes right now!. If you experience your CTR increase after doing this (belive me, you will!), let me know. Perhaps, next success story will be about you!

Increase your internet speed drastically!

Increase your internet speed drastically!

1. Increase bandwidth by tweaking QoS in Windows XP Pro

The following tweak applies only to Windows XP Professional edition.

The default system behavior is that all 100% bandwidth is available, however, if there is a running application that indicates to the OS it needs to send high priority/real time data, then as long as it has the socket open, Windows XP will restrict ?best effort? traffic to 80% of the bandwidth so that high priority traffic can be accommodated. Basically, applications can make this request to the operating system for QoS support using the QoS application programming interfaces (APIs) in Windows and this only applies if a specific app is requesting QoS.

If you'd like to change how much bandwidth is reserved for QoS (the default is 20% of the total bandwidth), do the following:

1. Make sure you're logged in as "Administrator" (not just any account with admin privileges).
2. Navigate to START>Run and type: gpedit.msc
3. Navigate to Local Computer Policy > Administrative Templates > Network > QOS Packet Scheduler
4. In the right window, double-click the limit reservable bandwidth setting

5. On the setting tab, check the enabled setting.
6. Where it says "Bandwidth limit %", change it to read 0 (or whatever percentage you want to reserve for high priority QoS data)
7. Click OK, close gpedit.msc

Under START > My Computer > My Network Connections > View Network Connections, right-click on your connection and under Properties (where it lists your protocols), make sure QOS Packet Scheduler is enabled.

The tweak desribed below helps boost priority for DNS & hostname resolution in general. What this means is, it helps web pages load faster, and has negligible effect on downloads (not counting the couple of ms gain with the host resolution at connect-time).

Applying this tweak assumes some proficiency in editing the Windows Registry using Regedit (Start > Run > type: regedit). As always, backup your Registry before making any changes so you can revert to the previous state if you don't like the results.

===============================================

2. Host Resolution Priority Tweak

host name resolution priority
Windows 2k/XP

First, open the Windows Registry using Regedit, and (after backing up) navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\ServiceProvider

Note the following lines (all hex dwords):
Class = 008 ( - indicates that TCP/IP is a name service provider, don't change.

LocalPriority = 1f3 (499) - local names cache
HostsPriority = 1f4 (500) - the HOSTS file
DnsPriority = 7d0 (2000) - DNS
NetbtPriority = 7d1 (2001) - NetBT name-resolution, including WINS

What we're aiming to do is increase the priority of the last 4 settings, while keeping their order. The valid range is from -32768 to +32767 and lower numbers mean higher priority compared to other services. What we're aiming at is lower numbers without going to extremes, something like what's shown below should work well:

Change the "Priority" lines to:
LocalPriority = 005 (5) - local names cache
HostsPriority = 006 (6) - the HOSTS file
DnsPriority = 007 (7) - DNS
NetbtPriority = 008 ( - NetBT name-resolution, including WINS

Windows 9x/ME

The tweak is essentialy the same as in Windows 2000/XP, just the location in the Registry is slightly different. For a more detailed description see the Windows 2000/XP section above.

Open the Windows Registry using Regedit, and (after backing up) navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\MSTCP\ServiceProvider

You should see the following settings:
Class=hex:08,00,00,00

LocalPriority=hex:f3,01,00,00
HostsPriority=hex:f4,01,00,00
DnsPriority=hex:d0,07,00,00
NetbtPriority=hex:d1,07,00,00

The "priority" lines should be changed to:
LocalPriority=hex:05,00,00,00
HostsPriority=hex:06,00,00,00
DnsPriority=hex:07,00,00,00
NetbtPriority=hex:08,00,00,00

Reboot for changes to take effect.

In addition to the tweaks already covered in Win 2k/XP Registry Tweaks and More Win 2k/XP Tweaks, the Windows XP Service Pack 2 introduces a few new issues covered in the article below. Please make sure you understand what you are doing before making any changes to your Operating System. Note the information below only applies to Windows XP Service Pack 2.

3. Remove the limit on TCP connection attempts

Windws XP SP2 introduces a few new twists to TCP/IP in order to babysit users and "reduce the threat" of worms spreading fast without control. In one such attempt, the devs seem to have limited the number of possible TCP connection attempts per second to 10 (from unlimited in SP1). This argumentative feature can possibly affect server and P2P programs that need to open many outbound connections at the same time.

Rant: The forward thinking of Microsoft developers here is that you can only infect 10 new systems per second via TCP/IP ?!?... If you also consider that each of those infected computers will infect 10 others at the same rate:
second 1: 1+10 computers
second 2: 10+10*10 computers (110 new ones)
second 3: 10+100*10 computers ( 1110 new ones)
second 4: 10+1000*10 computers (11110 new ones)
....
all the way to 10*60 + 10^60 computers in a single minute (that's a number with 60 digits, or it would far exceed Earth's population). Even if we consider that 90% of those computers are unreachable/protected, one would still reach ALL of them within a minute.

In other words, even though it is not going to stop worm spreading, it's going to delay it a few seconds, limit possible network congestion a bit, and limit the use of your PC to 10 connection attempts per second in the process ! I have no problem with the new default setting limiting outbound connection attempts. Still, users should have the option to easily disable or change this setting. I might be going out on a limb here, but ever since the introduction of Windows XP I can't help thinking that I dislike all the bult-in Windows "wisardry" in a sense that the system also limits user access. That irritating trend to ease the mental load on end users is somewhat insulting, considering that Windows is to make the more "intelligent" choice instead of the end user, as well as limit their access to tuning such settings...
End of rant.

With the new implementation, if a P2P or some other network program attempts to connect to 100 sites at once, it would only be able to connect to 10 per second, so it would take it 10 seconds to reach all 100. In addition, even though the setting was registry editable in XP SP1, it is now only possible to edit by changing it directly in the system file tcpip.sys. To make matters worse, that file is in use, so you also need to be in Safe mode in order to edit it.

You only need to worry about the number of connection attempts per second if you have noticed a slowdown in network programs requiring a number of connections opened at once. You can check if you're hitting this limit from the Event Viewer, under System - look for TCP/IP Warnings saying: "TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts". Keep in mind this is a cap only on incomplete outbound connect attempts per second, not total connections. Still, running servers and P2P programs can definitely be affected by this new limitation. Use the fix as you see fit.

To change or remove the limit, you can use the following program:

Event ID 4226 Patcher v2.11

Quote
http://www.speedguide.net/files/xp_sp2/EvID4226Patch211a-en.zip

- A patching program for removing or changing the limit imposed on connection attempts in SP2. The patcher has the ability to restore tcpip.sys back to the original... Still, you might want to back up tcpip.sys, use it at your own risk. The author of this patch can be reached @

4. Recommended settings for Windows 2000 / XP

Windows 2000 & XP, unlike NT supports large windows as described in RFC1323 ( the 'RcvWindow' has a maximum value of 2**30 rather than 64K), and includes some other improvements over its predecessors you can use to speed up any TCP/IP transfers. , the descriptions and other options are added to provide you with better understanding and enable you to customize your settings.

All the following entries, unless otherwise noted should be placed in the Windows 2000/XP Registry under the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

TCPWindowSize

The value of TCP Window in the Windows 2000 Registry is DWORD, representing number of bytes, with range from 0 to 2^30. The recommended values (in red) optimize TCP for any high speed Internet connection and work best in most cases, however if you'd like to use a custom value follow these guidelines:

For best results, the TCPWindow should be a multiple of MSS (Maximum Segment Size). MSS is generally MTU - 40, where MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) is the largest packet size that can be transmitted. MTU is usually 1500 (1492 for PPPoE connections). To determine the MTU value of your ISP, check out the Advanced Registry Editing section of our site.

There are three places in the Windows 2000 Registry where you can add the TCP Window parameter.

HKLM/SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize="256960" (DWORD, number of bytes) Valid range is from MSS to 2^30. Add the value as a decimal. Note: For best results RWIN has to be a multiple of MSS lower than 65535 times a scale factor that's a power of 2, i.e. 44 x 1460 = 64240 x 2^2 = 256960. If you choose to use a RWIN lower than 65535, you can simply make it multiple of MSS and turn scaling off (Tcp1323Opts=0)

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
TcpWindowSize="256960" (DWORD, number of bytes) Valid range is from MSS to 2^30. Add the value as a decimal. TcpWindowSize can also exist under TcpipParametersInterface - if added at this location, it overrides the global setting for this particular . Note (10/20/00): Seems MS has found another bug in Windows 2000, the TCPWindowSize should be configured with the global setting (GlobalMaxTcpWindowsSize) rather than this one - Q263088

Tcp1323Opts

Tcp1323Opts is a necessary setting in order to enable Large TCPWindow support as described in RFC 1323. Without this parameter, the TCPWindow is limited to 64K.

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
Tcp1323Opts="1" (DWORD, recommended setting is 1. The possible settings are 0 - Disable RFC 1323 options, 1 - Window scaling but no Timestamp options, 3 - Window scaling and Time stamp options.)

Note: Tcp1323Opts="3" might help in some cases where there is increased packet loss, however generally you'll achieve better throughput with Tcp1323Opts="1", since Timestamps add 12 bytes to the header of each packet.

DefaultTTL

DefaultTTL determines the time in seconds and the number of hops a packet lives. While it does not directly affect speed, a larger value increases the amount of time it takes for a packet to be considered lost, discarded and retransmitted. A value that's too small can cause packets to be unable to reach distant servers at all.

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
DefaultTTL="64" (DWORD, recommended setting is 64. Other settings that are widely used are 128 and 32)

EnablePMTUDiscovery

When set to 1 (True), TCP attempts to discover MTU automatically over the path to a remote host. Setting this parameter to 0 causes MTU to default to 576 which reduces overall performance over high speed connections. Note that this setting is different than our Windows 9x recommendation.

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
EnablePMTUDiscovery="1" (DWORD - boolean, valid settings are 0-->False and 1-->True. Many connections perform better with this entry at 1, however, if you prefer to set your upstream to send fixed 1500 packets, you might want to use 0 instead). When set at 1, establishing connections and initial transfer speed might slow down a bit, however you will get better throughput if somewhere in the path large packets need to be fragmented.

EnablePMTUBHDetect

Setting this parameter to 1 (True) enables "black hole" routers to be detected, however it also increases the maximum number of retransmissions for a given segment. In most cases you'd want to keep BHDetect to 0 (False).

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
EnablePMTUBHDetect="0" (DWORD - boolean, valid settings are 0-->False and 1-->True. Recommended setting is 0)

SackOpts

This parameter controls whether or not SACK (Selective Acknowledgement) support is enabled, as specified in RFC 2018. SACK is especially important for connections using large TCP Window sizes.

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
SackOpts="1" (DWORD - boolean, recommended setting is 1. Possible settings are 0 - No Sack options or 1 - Sack Option enabled).

TcpMaxDupAcks

This parameter determines the number of duplicate ACKs that must be received for the same sequence number of sent data before "fast retransmit" is triggered to resend the segment that has been dropped in transit.

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
TcpMaxDupAcks="2" (DWORD - range 1-3, recommended setting is 2).

Good Luck!,
Mixke

Be prepare for interview

Be prepare for interview

Consular officers are fond of asking questions of type 'What if...'
Examples are
What would you do if you win jackpot in Las Vegas casino?
What if someone offers you job in US at very high salary?
What if someone offers you partnership in his business?
What if some beautiful proposes you for marriage?
Consular officers may ask such questions to scrutinize the applicants. If you give answers such as I will buy house in US and stay there after winning jackpot, I will accept job offer or partnership and start working or get married to beautiful US citizen girl and settle there, your visa will be rejected. When you are applying for tourist visa, you are just supposed to tour the country and not just stay there forever because of one or another reason.

While there is a definite luck-factor involved, your chances of success will greatly increase if you prepare yourself thoroughly for the interview. The preparation consists of the following:
1. Knowing the visa officer's concerns and strategically preparing convincing points to satisfy his/her concerns.
2. Creating a list of anticipated questions and practising answering them again and again. It is good to take some time out and sit quietly in a room imagining that you are in the interview and that the consulate office is asking you questions. Practice answering the questions aloud. Repeat this entire drill 3-4 times until you have mastered the answers to all the questions. The interviewer will specifically ask some questions to the man and some to the woman and each one will be expected to answer those questions by themselves. So, this practice should be done by both.
3. Prepare perfect documents, especially your family photographs, property documents, bank statements, income tax records, and consultancy documents. Make sure your documents are perfect and that nothing is missing. Arrange the documents properly in a thin folder and memorize their arrangement, so a document can be instantaneously pulled out when needed.

Visa Officer's Concerns:
The visa officer typically has a few main concerns which he/she will want you to clarify. If the correct answers are given to these concerns in a convincing manner, then a visa would normally be granted. Following are the concerns along with the convincing points:

Concern: Why do you want to visit the US?
Convincing Point: For tourism purpose. Give names of places you are planning to visit: Niagara Falls, Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburg, and if possible Las Vegas and California.

Concern: Will you return to India after your visit?
Convincing Points: Yes, we definitely will because: (show that you have very strong ties with India in the following form, for which you will return):
1. Family ties: All our relatives, except the daughter we want to visit, are in India, including our only other daughter, our only grandchild, and our elderly mother who is partially dependent upon us for support. (Show family photographs to strenghthen your answers.)
2. Property: We own two bunglows, and a shop in XYZ city. We own a car, and have so many Rupees in the bank. (Show titles of bunglows, shops, car, bank statements confirming amount, and your income tax documents.) (Avoid using the unit, lakh. Instead say one hundred thousand. For 10 lakh, say million.)
3. Work as a Private Consultant: Show appointment documents for consultation jobs.

Concern: How will you finance your trip?
Convincing Point: Our daughter and son-in-law will finance our entire trip. (Point out the affidavit prepared by your son-in-law stating the same.) In addition we ourselves have enough personal funds to cover the entire trip, but these will not be needed.

Typical Questions:
Sample answers are given here. You would have to modify them for fit your situation.
1. Why do you want to travel to the USA?
Ans: We want to go to the USA for tourism purpose. We want to visit places such as Niagara Falls, Chicago, Detroit, and Pittsburgh. These are within drivable distance from our daughter's town. If possible we will also like to visit Las Vegas and California.

2. Why do you want to visit only at this time?
Ans: We are planning to visit the US in summer months, when the weather will be good for tourism. Also we want to visit the US before we get old, so that we can enjoy all the tourist places fully.
If planning to visit during winter months, you can say you would like to experience fall colors, snow, celebrate christmas and new year in US etc.

3. How long has it been since the last time you met your daughter?
This is an important question and should be answered carefully and confidently as per the reality of your case. Answer for a special case is shown here:
Ans: Our daughter is currently in India, visiting us and her other relatives. We would like to travel with her to the US. She will be taking us around the US for sight-seeing. Then after a few months the two of us will return to India while our daughter will continue to stay there with her husband. We have never done international travel before, and it will be comfortable for us to travel in our daughter's company.

4. Will you come back to India after your visit?
Ans: Yes definitely we will.

5. How can you assure me that you will come back?
Ans: All our relatives, including our only other daughter and our only grandchild are in India. Also our elderly mother who is partially dependent on us is India. We own two bunglows and a shop in XYZ city. We have so many rupees bank balance. I also run an engineering consultancy business with a partner. (Show documents for all these.)

6. Do you have any other relatives in the US?
Ans: Say whatever is true. E.g.: No. We don't have any other relatives in the US.

7. What relatives do you have in India?
Ans. Example: Man: We have our elder daughter in India staying very close to us in city XYZ. Our only grandchild (grand daughter) is also in city XYS. (It will be good to show family photographs at this time.) Also all my brothers and sisters and their families in India.
Woman: I have my only brother in India. Also I have my mother who is partially dependent on us.

8. Why do you want a 6 month visa? Can't you finish your trip is a shorter time?
Ans: We would like to go to the US in April so that we have all of the summer for visiting different places. If we can get a 6 month visa we wish to see the 'fall-colors' in upstate New York in October (autum) before we return. But a shorter visa would also be acceptable if you feel that is appropriate.

9. What will you do at home when your daughter and son-in-law go out to work?
Ans: Our daughter doesn't work as she is on a H4 visa (not allowed to work). She has a car of her own and we plan to drive around to visit nearby places.

10. What does your daughter do?
Ans: Our daughter is a home-maker.

11. What does your son-in-law do?
Ans: He is a mechanical engineer working for a mechanical engineering software company named, XYZ, in XYZ city, XYZ state.

12. Where does your daughter and son-in-law stay in the US?
Ans: XYS city, XYZ state. (Memorize the names of the towns thoroughly - this is the primary place you will be visiting in the US, so you should know its name properly)

13. What is your daughter's birth date?
Ans: XYZ

14. What is your son-in-law's birth date?
Ans: XYZ

15. What is the date of your daughter's wedding anniversary?
Ans: XYZ

16. What do you do in India?
Ans: Example
Man: I work as a private engineering consultant with a partner. (Show consultancy documents.) Previously, I retired as an engineering manager from an engineering company.
Woman: I am a home-maker i.e. house-wife.

17. What is your annual income?
Ans: Mention you annual income. Avoid using the unit, lakh. Instead say one hundred thousand. (Show your latest income tax return.)

18. Who will take care of your consultancy business when you are visiting the US?
Ans: My partner will look after the consultancy business till I return.

19. Do you have a credit card?
Ans: It is good to mention, yes, if you have one. Else say no.

20. Who is sponsoring you?
Ans: Our daughter.

21. When did you retire? How much pension do you get?
Ans: In 1999. I get Rs. 8000/month. Also, show the pension book.

22. Did you ever do international travel before?
Ans: Say 'Yes' if you have, else say 'No'.

23. Could you please show me your visiting card?
Ans: If you are employed or have business, show the card. If you are retired or don't have card, say so.

24. Can I see your leave approval?
Ans: In case of employed person, show it to the officer. Otherwise answer accordingly.

25. Will you work in US?
Ans: No, I am going there for tourism.

25. How long has daughter been living USA? What is her legal status?
Ans: Answer accordingly.

At the Interview:
1. Do not get nervous. Be confident. You will be more confident if you have prepared thoroughly.
2. Be there little early. You don't want to be missing your interview just because you got stuck in traffic.
3. Wear formal clothes as if for a formal business meeting. The interviewing officer will always be an American (the interpreter if required may be Indian). If possible the man should wear a tie. Americans always appreciate formal attire, so they will not find you over-dressed if you wear a tie.
4. Both candidates should greet the officer with a smile and a "good morning", as soon as you enter the interview booth.
5. Both candidates should have a confident posture and look at the interviewing officer straight in the eyes throughout the interview.
6. Be confident in your answers, whatever you say. Make short, clear, to-the-point replies, in loud and clear voice. Do any tell anything that is irrelevant or not asked. By mistake, you may give some unnecessary information that may lead to your rejection.
7. Be polite, do not argue and do not ask unnecessary or unrelated questions.
8. Often times you might not understand what the interviewing officer is saying because of his/her American accent and/or the microphone system. If you do not understand one of their sentences do not feel afraid to say, 'beg you pardon; I did not understand you.' If he/she repeats the question and you still do not understand, that is not a problem, do not panic. Calmly and confidently say, sorry sir/madam. I still did not understand you. Could you kindly repeat what you said?
9. If you know English, it is preferable to have interview in English so that you and consular officer can understand the thoughts of each other. Interpreters mess up sometimes.
10. Consular officers are very smart in their profession. They can figure out true intentions of applicants most of the times because of their training and experience. Some of them also may know regional languages of India.
11. If officer asks the questions of type 'What if', don't give answer immediately without thinking through it. If officer supspects that your intention may to stay in US and/or work there, your visa may be rejected.
12. Be honest during the interview and while preparing the documents. Consular officer is not your enemy and he is just doing his duty.
13. For every question asked, when you are saying your answer you should be prepared to simultaneously put forth a document supporting your answer, and refer to the document in your answer.
E.g. if the interviewer asks you what are your ties in India, for which you will return to India after your visit, and if one of the components for your answer is that our only grand-child is in India, you should simultaneously present photographs of your grand-child and your family to the interviewer to strengthen you answer.
Documents That You Carry:
1. Go through the documents thoroughly to see that nothing is missing. Improper/incomplete documentation is the leading cause of visa refusal. Know what detailed you have provided in the application form and in other documents. Many times when applying for parents, children prepare lot of documents and parents have no idea what is going on.
2. Documents that you carry along with you to the interview should be carried in a thin folder in a plastic bag.
3. You should remember by heart the order in which the documents are arranged in the folder, so that if you need to show a particular document to the interview officer it can be presented in 2 to 5 seconds. The interview officers are highly impatient, and any delay/fumbling in pulling out a document from your folder in presenting it to the officer, can very well trigger an emotional reaction from the officer that might lead to visa rejection.
4. Here is a list of documents that should be carried along other than the documents we have sent you:
a. Family photographs that show your close family.
b. Property titles for real estate. If you have any document/deed that reflects the value of these properties, carry that along as well.
c. Title of car.
d. Your latest income tax returns.
e. Bank statement copies, passbooks and latest ATM balance receipts.
f. Consultancy appointment letters.
Miscellaneous Situations:
In rare cases, the interviewing officer might say that I can grant visa to only one of you two. Be prepared for this situation. Ideally both of you will like to travel to the US together, or both of you would like to stay back in India together. While one of you doesn't want to travel alone to the US, you might as well take a visa for one person. It is better than having both of your visas rejected. This way at least it will be easy for one of you two to get a visa if/when you apply next time. Before going to the consulate decide which one of you should get the visa if this situation occurs, and when the officer asks this question, confidently say "in that case you can give a visa to her", or "you can give a visa to me". Be prepared to give a good reason for the choice made between you two, if the officer asks about it.

If You Get the Visa:
Immediately go through all the information on the visa stamp very carefully. Make sure there are no typographical errors in your name, passport, number, date of birth, etc. written on the visa stamp. If there are any such errors, contact the visa application center to get it corrected. Even a small error is not tolerable as it can cause trouble later on, and should be corrected as soon as possible.

If You Don't Get the Visa:
1. That's not the end of the world! It doesn't change anything in life. Things continue to be as excellent as they were before.
2. We did our best. The rejection was solely due to a whim of the interviewing officer.
3. We can always apply a second time. Something to think about...

How to Improve Search Engine Ranking

How to Improve Search Engine Ranking

Showing up on search engines is one of the most critical ways to increase website traffic and expose your content, product or service to people who might be interested in what you have to offer. Most of the major search engines utilize an algorithm to determine where a website ranks. The search engines have set up specific criteria that a website must meet to get to the top of the list. The criteria are different for every engine, but all engines share several commonalities. It all boils down to the type and amount of content provided on a given website, the level of optimization done on the site, and the popularity of the website (link popularity/PageRank). Tailoring your website for improved search engine rankings is also known widely as search engine optimization, or SEO.

Steps

[1]. Research the keywords:Decide what search queries you want to show up for. Do some research on how many people are actually searching for your site. Many times it is best to consult a "natural search engine optimization" professional during this process. There are several tools available from Google, Overture, and third party software developers that can make the keyword research process easier.
[2]. Think outside of the box: Don't just focus on your main keywords. The first thing to realize when targeting keywords is that it is not all about ranking for the most popular keyword. The most successful search engine marketing and optimization campaigns target the most relevant keywords. For example, if you are a realtor in a particular area, don’t just optimize your site for “real estate." Optimize your site for dentist, florist, movie theaters, etc. You would be amazed how many unique visitors will come through to your site when "outside of the box" thinking occurs.
[3]. Focus on the end user: If you spend too much time trying to please the Search Engine Spiders, you may forget about the end user. Think about what your target market needs to accomplish their goals, and then put it on your site so that they can find it. The phrase "content is king" was born about 6 years ago, and it still holds true today. If you want to be relevant for specific keywords, than you need superior or at least highly competitive content. Write about 225-300 words of copy for each keyword and plant it on your site each day. Grow, grow, and grow. On average, one can target between 3-5 like keyword phrases per page. Make it as natural as possible and the Search Engines will reward you will a first page ranking.
[4]. Describe EVERYTHING: Make sure that all the pages of the site of have custom titles and descriptions. If your site is using the same tags for all the pages, you are not helping search engines figure out the subject or relevance of your individual pages. Regarding Meta Tags, there are 2 very important fields:
* Title Tag - arguably the most important SEO tag for any website. Google supports approx. 60 characters in the title, while Yahoo allows for up to 110 characters in the title. It is important to target the most critical keywords in the Title. Every page should have a unique Title.
* META Description Tag - also very important for every page on the site. Some engines do display the description defined, while others do not. All search engines do read the description tag, and do utilize the content found within in the ranking process. A good rule of thumb is to create descriptions that do not exceed 200-250 characters. The META keyword Tag is essentially useless in today's SEO market, but is often times good to utilize as a placeholder for the keywords targeted.
[5].Maintain Consistency: Keep the structure, navigation and URL structure of your site simple enough for search engines to follow. Remember that search engines cannot parse your navigation if it's using flash or javascript. So try to stay close to standard HTML when it comes to Navigation. URLs with dynamic parameters (?, &, SIDs) usually do not perform when it comes to search engine rankings
[6]. Create a site map: Create a site map that tells people where everything is on your site. You will get about a 1% click through rate to your site map. However, it will do wonders for those who know what site maps do, and the Search Engines will like it as well.
[7]. Build up your popularity: So now you have determined the right keywords on the right pages, you've created all of the necessary content; you've optimized all of the content to the best of your capabilities. Congratulations - you're now in the top 80 percentile (from an optimization standpoint) of the websites listed for the keywords you're trying to target. So how do you get a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd page listing? The answer is quite simple: You have to be the most popular, too. That's right, it's a popularity contest. In other words, how many other websites know you (link to you), and how popular are they? This is typically referred to as link popularity, or called PageRank by Google. The more sites that link to your site the better, and the more popular the site linking to you the more value you will receive for your link popularity. The best types of "link building" are directory registration, text link advertising, and press release distribution. Try to offer valuable information or tools so that other people are motivated to link to your site. Well linked sites (that don't use spamming) do better in search engines.

Tips

* Search engine algorithms assess the relevance of your page to any particular keyword by the content on your pages. For instance if you are selling "widgety widgets" on your site and you do not mention "widgety widgets" on your page text, search engines have very little to work with. Also make sure that you are not spamming search engines by using the same keyword over and over.
* Although not as important as they used to be, reciprocal links do still matter with Google. Reciprocate with similar websites and include keywords near the links on your site.
* If you want to optimize well for your city, state etc., make sure to sprinkle geographic search terms throughout. Include it in text as well as set apart. Search engines do not know where you are unless you tell them.
* Bold and italics can make your keywords stand out more with the search engines.
* Interior links within your site will improve SEO; Sitemaps are a great way to generate internal links and make your website better too!
* Correct broken links, search engines do not like dead ends.
* If you have over 30 keywords that mean business to you, then you might want to hire a Professional Search Engine Copywriting firm or outsource it to freelancers.
* Anyone who can go to google and type in "keyword research" will find very many tools that mixed with common sense should suffice quite well.
* Now when digging deeper to understand the traffic patterns of certain keywords use Wordtracker’s GTrends Tool. You can get an idea on the amount of competition on Google compared to the amount of searches. Now these numbers are far from accurate, BUT if you can kind of step back and take a broader look at things, don’t worry so much about the numbers but compare the trends since it shows the past history. See if its steady traffic, traffic that is going extinct, or traffic just starting to peak. By using this tool, you can many times find some golden opportunities.
* It really comes down to just using common sense. Just sit down and think, "What would other people search to find this? What would I search for to find this?" Try phrases in your keyword research tool to get new ideas and find the higher trafficked most targeted phrases. DO NOT look at the numbers spat back out at you by these programs as accurate numbers, they rarely are. You can still use these tools to get ideas on new keywords, search patterns of users, and many other things, that mixed with the information of trends in that area, can really help you.

Warnings

* If you are going to use freelancers, beware of duplicate content. Always make sure to check the content that you get by searching for the content on Google, Yahoo, and MSN.
* Never have hyperlinks like "click here", hyperlinks should always be keywords, long hyperlinks with multiple keywords are even better.
* Don't hide content.
* Don't create duplicate websites.
* Remember that if you use black-hat SEO techniques, you run the risk of getting penalized by the search engines and having your web site permanently removed from their index.

A to Z Adsense Tips and Tricks

A to Z Adsense Tips and Tricks

Many websites out there are informative and attractive, but the only (and ofcourse the biggest) concern for webmasters is “how to make money with my website”. There are many publisher programs, but the following piece of text will focus on making money with Google Adsense program.

Steps to Increase Google CTR which means more money:

[a]. Strictly adhere to the google Polices and TOS. If you are not aware, here it is

https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US

[b]. Do not alter the Google Adsense code

[c]. Do not ask your friends or visitors to click on your Google ads. Do not offer incentives for users to click on google ads. Don’t label the Google ads with text other than “Sponsored Links” or “Advertisements”

[d]. Do not click on your own ads. Google can find it out easily and if it does, your account will be banned and all your money earned is gone. Do not reload your pages excessively. If you are testing your website layout with Google Adsense, you can try the google adsense preview tool. Google does not account any clicks made in the ads displayed in the preview tool.

[e]. Do not place google ads in pop-up windows, error pages or even empty pages.

[f]. Don’t start a website merely for making money from accidental clicks like “mesothelioma attorney” or “asbestos crisis”. You will never make money out these “made-for-adsense-only” websites. Instead, write on topics what you are passionate about. Don’t waste your money on high-paying adsense keywords lists.

[g]. For short content/articles, CTR(click through rate) is best when ads are placed just above the content

[h]. For long articles, CTR improves if ads are placed somewhere in middle of the content, as visitors read the long content and then they are looking for more resources.

[i]. Use Text Ads instead of Image Ads as users get more options. If you still want to display image ads, consider ad formats that support image ads. Statistics say that the 336×280, 300×250 medium rectangle or the 160×600 wide skyscraper works excellent, if you display multiple ad units on a page.

[j]. Reports tell that the following ad format/attributes works best,

border color = background color of your web site
background color = background color of your web site
link color = blue, color of your links
url color = black, #999999
text color = black, #333333, color of your main content

[k]. Always put ads above the main fold. Just have the following heatmap as a reference before placing your ads on your pages.

http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/google-heatmap-2.htm

[l]. Placing images next to ads or above ads does help in attracting user attention, But google does not recommend.

[m]. Blend AdLinks with other navigation links or place horizontal adlinks at the top of your webpage. AdSense publishers are permitted to click on link unit topics on their web pages, provided that they do not click on any Google ads on the resulting page.

[n]. Request your friends or colleagues to navigate your website, watch their activity, it will provide vital clues about which regions on your website draw more user attention. Try putting ads near those areas.

[o]. You can put upto 3 adsense units on a page. Try putting a large skyscraper on the right navigation sidebar of your website. That area is close to the browser scrollbar. You can also add 2 AdSense for search boxes, 1 adlink unit and 1 referral button per product (i.e., 1 AdSense referral button and 1 Firefox plus Google Toolbar referral button).

[p]. The first few lines of your content are an important factor for determining what Ads are served on your webpage. That’s the right place to put keywords in bold.

[q]. Always select the setting to open Google Adsense search box results in a new browser window, so you won’t lose your visitors. Click the Open search results in a new browser window checkbox and this add target=”google_window” to your form tag.

[r]. Maximum people think the search box is on the top right corner. So you know where to put it.

[s]. Don’t syndicate full content in your RSS. If people can read everything from the newsreader window itself, why would they visit your website where your ads are.

[t]. Use URL channels to determine performance of individual pages. I track my most popular pages with Google Analytics, Statcounter and create a channel for each of the URL. You can even track Adsense Clicks with Analytics

[u]. For low CTR pages, try changing titles or adding more content to get better focused ads

[v]. Block low paying advertisers with Filters. Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents. Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.

[w]. The AdSense for search Top Queries report shows you what your users are looking for, by listing the 25 most common searches conducted through your AdSense for search boxes. Use this report to identify additional topics to add to your site, or to keep track of your most sought-after information. Focus and improve that content.

[x]. Not everyone has an RSS reader. Use RSS to Email services like FeedBlitz, Bloglet or Rmail to let users subscribe to your blog by email.

[y]. Try experimenting until you get highest CTR. Placement of ads depends from site to site. What is good for Yahoo is not best for google. So, try try until you find a good CTR

[z]. Use a Tracking website like Google Analytics or Sitemeter to track your visitors and see what keywords they have been searching and use it to your advantage :)

Adsense Tips, Layout Optimization Tricks for Higher CTR

The next interesting question - How to Make Money with Google Adsense ? Here are The best Google Adsense Tips and Tricks for making more money (profit) from Google adsense program.

a. Strictly follow the rules mentioned in Adsense policies. You will always earn more revenue from Adsense by playing it clean.

b. Never modify the Google Adsense HTML code.

c. Don't ask your friends or visitors to click on your Google ads. Do not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. Don't label the Google ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements.".

d. Don't click on your own ads - Google is much smarter than you think. You should not reload your pages excessively. If you are testing your website layout with Google adsense, follow some precautions. Or you can use the unofficial Google Adsense Sandbox Tool that is accessible from Firefox, IE and other browsers to see what kind of Google ads will be served based on content (website address URL) or keywords.

e. Don't place ads in pop-up windows, error pages or even empty pages.

f. Don't start a "adsense asbestos" or "home equity loan rates" website merely to make money from accidental clicks (accidence). You will never make money out these "made-for-adsense-only" websites. Instead, write on topics what you are passionate about. Don't waste your money on high-paying adsense keywords lists.

g. For short articles, CTR is best when ads are placed just above the content

h. For long articles, CTR improves if ads are placed somewhere in middle of the content - visitors read the long content and then they are looking for more resources.

i. Use Text Ads instead of Image Ads as users get more options. If you still want to display image ads, consider ad formats that support image ads - Choose either the 300x250 medium rectangle or the 160x600 wide skyscraper - or both, if you display multiple ad units on a page.

j. Google Ads without background color and borders always perform better. Make the border color and background color same as your page background color.

k. Always put ads above the main fold. Make sure that the ad unit with the highest clickthrough rate is the first instance of the ad code that appears in the HTML. Since the first ad unit is always filled before the rest, you want to make sure that ad unit is located in the best placement on your page.

l. Try setting the ad link URL color to a lighter shade. If your text is black, you may make the adlink as light gray.

m. Go Wide - The large rectangle is the best paying adsense format (336x280) - The Google Adsense Publisher team also feels that the best formats are the wider ones - the ad formats that contain the widest individual ads. Try using the 336x280 large rectangle, 300x250 medium rectangle, or 160x600 wide skyscraper.

n. Placing images next to ads or above ads does help in attracting user attention.

o. Blend AdLinks with other navigation links or place horizontal adlinks at the top of your webpage. AdSense publishers are permitted to click on link unit topics on their web pages, provided that they do not click on any Google ads on the resulting page.

p. Organize an Adsense Party for your friends and colleagues - Request them to navigate your website, watch their activity - it will provide vital clues about which regions on your website draw more user attention. Try putting ads near those areas. (Thanks Darren)

q. You can put upto 3 adsense units on a page. Try putting a large skyscraper on the right navigation sidebar of your website. That area is close to the browser scrollbar. You can also add 2 AdSense for search boxes, 1 adlink unit and 1 referral button per product (i.e., 1 AdSense referral button and 1 Firefox plus Google Toolbar referral button).

r. The first few lines of your content are an important factor for determining what Ads are served on your webpage. That's the right place to put keywords in bold (strong or <b> tags) or header tags (h1, h2, etc).

s. Always select the setting to open Google Adsense search box results in a new browser window, so you won't lose your visitors. Click the Open search results in a new browser window checkbox and this add target="google_window" to your form tag.

t. Maximum people think the search box is on the top right corner. So you know where to put it.

u. Don't syndicate full content. If people can read everything from the newsreader window itself, why would they visit your website where your ads are.

v. Use URL channels to determine performance of individual pages. I track my most popular pages with Google Analytics, Statcounter and create a channel for each of the URL. You can even track Adsense Clicks with Analytics

w. For low CTR pages, try changing titles or adding more content to get better focused ads

x. Block low paying advertisers with Filters. Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents. Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.

y. The AdSense for search Top Queries report shows you what your users are looking for, by listing the 25 most common searches conducted through your AdSense for search boxes. Use this report to identify additional topics to add to your site, or to keep track of your most sought-after information. Focus and improve that content.

z. Not everyone has a RSS reader. Use RSS to Email services like FeedBlitz, Bloglet or Rmail to let users subscribe to your blog by email.

Remember, you are the best judge when it comes to choosing ad formats. Even Google doesn't offer the best advise always. For instance, in the visual heat map, Google suggests that webmasters are best served by positioning ads on the upper left-hand side of a Web page. But on the Google homepage, you will find ads on the far right.

AdSense is one of the best tools you can use to draw dollars to your site. Remember that there is no easy way to make money on Adsense... it takes a lot of work. Adsense publishers on blogspot.com can integrate Adsense directly from Blogger Interface.

Yahoo Publisher Network YPN and Chitika eMiniMalls offer interesting Adsense alternatives. You can use this free online Sandbox tool to compare Google Adsense, Chitika eMiniMalls and Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) Program.

Enter any keywords or a website address (URL), choose a geographic location (for Google), customize ad colors or choose from an existing color set and click "Udate Ads Display". You can try the Adsense, YPN or Chitika Services without signing up for any of these services.

Blogger + Adsense Hack: Show ads after each post to earn more from your blogger beta blog!

This trick surprisingly increased my earnings 4 times from last few days!
I have modified my blog code to put adsense ads between post title and post body!
Well this kind of ad placement will surely result in higher payout! But I’m demonstrating how to do that for blogger beta only! You can apply similar hack for other blogging platform! (Google for help, are contact me if u get stuck)

#Steps for placing ads in every post!
1. Log in to your blogger beta account!
2. From your dashbord, click on “Layout”
3. Next click “Edit HTML”
4. Now Check “Expand Widget Templates” (by default it is unchecked)
5. Now search for post.body in codes. (Better use your browsers built-in search feature)
6. By default it should appear in your layout code only for once and you should reach the line…
7. Now if you want to put your adsense codes between post title and post body paste it above the line you found in step 6 or below the line to show ads after posts!
8. Wait its not over yet! You have to modify adsense codes a little-bit. But don’t worry about the TOS as this modification will not be visible after template gets saved. (In-fact I’m doing this only)
9. Your Google Adsense Codes will have following lines!
just replace highlighted < with < and > with >
If you have any doubt about this please read note at the end!
10. Its time to hit preview button! :-)

#Tips: Using Blend template for Adsense!
From day one, I have been using Blend template for Google Adsense. But in above hack you must use that! I feel so because your ads will appear in every post and end-user experience may degrade if your color scheme is annoying!

#Note: How modification to the Adsense code is not against its TOS?
First you can open your blog and cross-check its source code using browsers “view source” option to see Adsense Codes back to what you have got!
Now if you know about HTML then in HTML laguage, we just used HTML Character Entities.
What gets stored in blogger database is actual code!
So don’t worry be happy & rich ;-)

Are You Ready to take a leap forward and finally start harvesting massive daily profits like the top AdSense earners? Within 5 min you can watch the breakthrough step-by-step AdSense Video blueprints to how I made a genuine $10,852 in just the FIRST month using NO search engine traffic

AdSense is a maturing industry, that’s why you should listen carefully.
Sir Richard Branson (you know the founder of Virgin Airlines, Virgin Records etc.), understands this concept and adopts the same strategy! It’s a proven fact that entrepreneur #2 often makes the most the money in a maturing industry, like AdSense. Benefit from the mistakes and lessons learnt from others before you (like myself!), and aim straight for genuine profit!
You can read all the e-books you want on AdSense. I have lived, breathed, tested and dreamt AdSense for the last two years and probably read and studied everything that is currently out there worth studying on the subject. I am also grateful to the competent fellow AdSense specialists out there. However YOU don’t need to do the same thing. You only need to watch these videos.
What I’m about to reveal to you in these videos is going to send your head spinning, get your pulse racing and drive your heart rate through the roof!
“I will show you how to achieve 50% CTR on your AdSense pages just by implementing my secret killer techniques, all approved by Google”
The first and most obvious factor to AdSense earnings is the Click Through Rate. Most website owners operates sites with a CTR of around 8-14% - does this sound familiar to you? If so, that’s good reason why you should listen to my advise. Let me show you how to take your traffic further.
I now enjoy a sustainable 50%+ CTR in average on my AdSense pages and you can too! I spent months researching why some sites where achieving these high levels CTR, and other similar pages did not. I was indeed very surprised to learn how simple and obvious the solution was. I will teach you exactly how you can achieve these CTR levels also, in fact a whole video is dedicated to just that!
There are a few critical, proven and brilliant easy-to-implement techniques known to only a handful successful internet marketers that you MUST implement to your AdSense pages and that WILL skyrocket your CTR. I will make sure you fully understand how to make full use of these brilliant techniques in my blue print videos. If that’s not “decoding AdSense”… then what is!
Have a look at my own AdSense CTR of 53.95% below and you will see what I mean!
Consistent Productivity 6 Months Later!
(Earnings not included to comply with Adsense TOS)
I’ll ALSO show you something brand NEW!
This new AdSense technique is so ingenious and powerful as a new revenue model it was suggested a new name had to be created for it (it’s not ‘Arbitrage’). I call it:
“ADSENSE BROKERAGE”
…and it is currently creating an all new chapter in internet & affiliate marketing!
“Buckle up…AdSense Brokerage is the instant online revenue model we have all been waiting for. You don’t even need to generate your own traffic.”
“In fact here is a brief list of things you DON’T need to make serious money with Google AdSense:
- No search engine presence
- No returning, redirected, exchanged or any other type of organic traffic
- No expensive script or software
- No back links
- No Google Page Rank (PR)
- No customers
- No products
- No affiliates
- No email list
- No down-line (it’s not Multi-Level-Marketing)
- No programming Skills
AdSense Brokerage in Practise is Like if a Property Broker Suddenly Had 100 Properties to Collect Commissions from Rather Than 1.
Let me give you an easy to understand, off line example. Ever since I went online full time it has been an objective (obsession!) of mine to find a system that offers a minimum of 100% monetized conversions. AdSense Brokerage offers this and more! Please consider the following:
A busy real estate broker may get 100+ phone calls on a Saturday ad in the local paper for one of his or her listings. It should be clear to anyone that 99 of those phone calls will NOT result in a sale, as only one telephone prospect can be the purchaser of the listed property. BUT …WHAT if this broker could have an automated system in place where he would also be paid handsomely for referring all of these 99 telephone prospects to other brokers. Do you think he would make more money of the sale of his own single listing than from the collective commissions of the 99 referrals? The answer is hypothetical since we don’t know what the referral commissions are, however the point here is that the broker has created an additional and a very substantial revenue stream. Importantly, he has monetized 100% of his incoming phone calls. Do you think this broker would now be keen to advertise for the sole purpose of receiving as many phone calls as possible AS WELL AS continue to advertise his single listed property? YES of course! Now if you also add the option of having 2 incoming phone numbers (landing pages) for the broker he now has the opportunity to advertise with a lot cheaper and more general advertisement but with a LOT MORE exposure in another, less targeted, paper, that will have his phone ringing 24/7, let’s call them “curiosity calls”. Suddenly he actually becomes a broker of real estate “related” phone calls. Since his receptionist (landing page) will automatically qualify/filter the incoming “curiosity phone calls”, any suitable prospects for their own in-house property listings will easily be identified and overall sales conversion of his own listed properties will increase as a result. AdSense Brokerage is based on this same approach!
In an internet marketing comparison this automated qualifying process makes the visitor more “targeted”, thus the value/price when (on)selling this visitor to other advertisers, like AdSense, has suddenly gone UP!
“This sounds like something I have heard about….”AdSense Arbitrage”, is it the same?”
-NO!
AdSense Brokerage is far more rewarding as it operates with multiple ways of monetizing the traffic and importantly it offers a lower risk/higher profit traffic strategy with wider traffic options.
Don’t worry if this sounds academic, it isn’t and you will soon see why.
Remember the screen shot above of my AdSense earnings above? Then you might also remember that those earnings do not even include the earnings from the extra revenue streams created by any AdSense Brokerage generated income. These extra income streams are on top of the earnings that you just saw! The reason you haven’t seen them is that they come in to a multitude of places and cannot easily be displayed in a summarized way. But believe me, these incomes are there, they are recurring and I am enjoying them! Soon you can too!

100 Google AdSense Tips

- by Anup Salvi

Webmasters everywhere can participate in Google AdSense programme where Google will serve advertisements on the webmasters sites in exchange for some payment. If you are a webmaster and have not put AdSense, consider to do so.

Here is the 100 Google AdSense Tips

1.

AdSense Earning = Impression-count x Click-though-rate x Cost-per-click x smart-pricing-factor.
2.

Impression count is basically referring to your traffic. It means the number of times AdSense block is displayed.
3.

Click-through-rate (CTR) is ratio of clicks per impressions. It can range from 0.1% to 30%, but most commonly around 1% to 10%.
4.

Cost-per-click (CPC) is the earning you get per click. While traditionally it refers to the amount advertisers pay for each click, it can also mean the amount publishers get for each click.
5.

Smart-pricing is AdSense method to determine how valuable clicks from your site is worth. If clicks on your site doesnt provide good value to advertisers, e.g. from visitors geo-location that seldom translate to sales, you will only get a fraction of the supposed CPC.
6.

Apply for AdSense account via blogger.com for faster approval.
7.

Once you get your AdSense publisher code, you can put it any of your websites without requiring further approval.
8.

Read and reread Google AdSense Program Policies and Terms and Conditions.
9.

Dont click on your own ads, or ask people to click, even if you are using proxies.
10.

Dont use click-bots.
11.

Dont encourage your visitors to click on ads. The only acceptable text is Sponsored Links and Advertisements.
12.

Dont put competitor contextual ads on the same page as your AdSense, for example: Yahoo Publisher Network, Clicksor. Non-contextual ads are ok.
13.

Dont put your ads on objectionable material, e.g. adult sites, gambling sites, mp3, etc.
14.

Basically, dont cheat AdSense. Google will catch you, sooner or later.
15.

Viewing your on website will not get you banned. Just make sure you dont click on the ads.
16.

However, repeatedly reload your page to jack up page impressions can get you banned.
17.

When in doubt dont hesitate to contact the AdSense team. They are very helpful.
18.

Choose a high paying niche without too much competition.
19.

You can try highest paying keywords from cwire.org, but know before-hand that youll face very fierce competitions.
20.

Use Overture Bid Tool and Search Engine Keyword Tool to find suitable keyword.

DC++ Sharing Software

The downloads

The client can be downloaded, precompiled and ready to run. DC++ only runs on Windows NT based operating systems such as Windows 2000 or Windows XP. If you run Windows 95, 98, or ME, you can try version 0.699, but your experience may not be the same.

If you have experience in C++ programming, the source code for DC++ is also available. To compile DC++, you will need tools from MinGW. For versions prior to 0.700, the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 ( 0.699 ) or Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 ( <= 0.698 ) is required. Although DC++ is free, Microsoft Visual Studio is not, so in order to compile these versions you will need to purchase a license. Refer to compile.txt in the source package for more information.

DC++ is distributed with language files included. By default it will use the language specified in Windows locale settings. You can change it in Settings → Appearance → Language. You can help translating DC++ to your own language using a web based translating interface.
